Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry which specialises in the development of the face, jaws and teeth. It is used to improve the appearance and alignment of crooked, protruding or crowded teeth and to correct problems with the bite of the teeth.

An orthodontist is a specialist dentist who has undergone additional training.

Orthodontics can also help in the treatment of other health problems, such as a cleft lip and palate.
